Research question

Compare the different film style of the western and eastern country.

Research aim

The overall aim of my subject is to compare with the western and eastern countries’ different which in the parts of post-production and focus. Basic of the similar content films, the final results are different in the western and eastern countries, such as <The Departed> and <Infernal Affairs>, <Infernal Affairs> is made by 2002 in China, it was wined some film awards in China. But, in 2006, a American company made it again, same content in that film, after it was screened, it was wined The 79^th Academy Award, it is  --The Departed. It is a huge different result. So I hope to accord this question, I can know the difference of the western and eastern countries more depth, and how to put them together to make a international film.

Research objectives

Firstly, I need to watch many the western and eastern countries’ movies that are similar content, from these movies to find different movie style in their post-production and focus. Secondly, I want to read some book about that, better to know the cultural characteristics in the film history of the western and eastern countries. Finally, I will make a film that put the western and eastern elements in their post-production and focus by teamwork, this is my final project, and I will respond film photography and post-production. It will become a big challenge for me, but I’m looking forward to it.

 My second draft has many detail, because the context is not clear it.
